Saskia is extremely dedicated to her work in outreach and education. For over a decade she has worked as a Teaching Artist for the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall in many different settings. This season she is a lead artist in the Future Music Project for teens and Music Educators Workshop where she leads workshops with classroom teachers in the 5 boroughs. She is also continuing her work with the Lullaby Project, a project near and dear to her, where she collaborates with families in shelters, hospitals and correctional facilities. This fall also marks the launch of a new program, Big Note Little Note, which she designed on behalf of Carnegie Hall.

Early Childhood Education

Saskia has worked with the very young and their families for over 15 years. Through teaching music, art and movement, she strives to build a lifelong love of learning and connection for each family she works with. Currently Saskia leads the Early Childhood Program at Brotherhood Synagogue.
